Things to do in Diani & the South Coast
Kwale County

Diani, about 30km south of Mombasa, is repeatedly voted Africa's leading beach destination: 17km of white coral sand, warm water and a reef that keeps the lagoon calm.
Best time to visit
Water stays 26–29°C all year. December to March and July to October are sunniest; April and May bring the long rains.
Getting there
Fly to Moi International Airport in Mombasa and drive south via the Likoni ferry, or take a direct domestic flight to Ukunda (Diani) airstrip.
